Elyne ("the app", "we", "our") is a personal-assistant tool that helps users curate visual moodboards for personal-growth practice across nine spheres of life. This document explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We have written it in plain language — no legal jargon unless necessary.

1. Data we collect

Pinterest API data. When a user connects their Pinterest account, we read public pin and board metadata — image URLs, titles, captions, board names — via the official Pinterest API. Authentication is handled by Pinterest via OAuth; we do not receive or store Pinterest passwords.

User-provided preferences. Style-archetype selections, life-sphere preferences, and other inputs the user enters inside the Elyne app.

Usage data. Anonymous events — which screens were visited, which archetypes were selected — for improving the product. We do not collect personally identifiable information beyond what the user explicitly provides.

2. What we do NOT collect

3. How we use the data

4. Data storage and retention

Pinterest API responses are cached locally on the user's device and/or on Elyne's secured infrastructure. We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the service. Users can request deletion of their data at any time by writing to boxolegr88@gmail.com.

5. Third parties

Pinterest (Pinterest, Inc.). Used as described above. Pinterest's own privacy policy applies: policy.pinterest.com/en/privacy-policy.

We do not use advertising networks, trackers, or analytics providers that sell personal data.

6. Children

Elyne is not intended for users under the age of 18.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app and dated at the top of this document.
